Topographic/Site Surveys form the basis for any development on a site. The plan is used by the architect in the building design, overall height and height in relation to boundary calculations. Most importantly, the Site Survey provides a snap shot of what is on site at the time of survey. This includes any impediments to the development, for example significant trees, flood plains and underground services.
From the Site Survey, a plan is produced to show the surveyed information, along with boundary and title information. Information can also be provided in electronic form and made available to architects and other professionals working with you, for importing into their computer systems.
